The Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department is a 501(c)4 corporation. We derive our revenue from rent from our cell tower and the generous support we receive through our annual fund drive and other donations. We use the proceeds to maintain our existing fire station, save for our new fire station, and purchase emergency vehicles and equipment.

In 2007, we purchased a new four-wheel drive ambulance, which cost over $150,000. In 2008, we will be purchasing a new vehicle to tow one of the swift water rescue boats. By late 2008 or early 2009, we will be contributing approximately $1,000,000 towards the construction of our new fire station. We are also saving for an additional ambulance that we plan to purchase when the new facility is opened.

The Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department has been the beneficiary of fundraisers conducted by other organizations, both large and small, from car washes to black tie events.
